Cissokho flattered by Milan interest

AC Milan could be tempted to rekindle their interest in Olympique Lyon defender Aly Cissokho after the player’s agent revealed that is client is pleased to be linked with the club.
The Rossoneri were close to claiming Cissokho’s services two years when he was leaving FC Porto and the player even had a medical with the club, but the transfer never materialized and the Cissokho moved to France.
However, agent Fabrizio Ferrari, who represents the player on Italian football matters, has revealed that Milan could soon launch another bid to take Cissokho to the San Siro.
Speaking to, Ferrari said: “He is proud of the interest from Milan. But he is a player for a club fighting for the Champions League, and he is focused on this.
“Milan are interested in various players and he could be part of these. But we have to see if they want him, and if Lyon are prepared to sell.”
