Colomba: “Giovinco wants Parma future”

Parma Coach Franco Colomba has made it known Sebastian Giovinco wants to stay with Parma, while he is unsure regarding the future of Amauri.
The duo joined on loan from Juventus at the start of the season and in January respectively. Giovinco’s deal had an additional clause that allowed Parma the chance to purchase 50% of his contract, which they will take up.
Colomba noted to Sportitalia: “Giovinco? I believe that Parma will take up the offer and there are no problems with this.”
Giovinco struggled for playing time at Juventus and has often voiced his opinion of Italian clubs not fielding their younger players.
Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli has warned those hoping to play for gli Azzurri will need to find regular playing time at their club side to be considered.
“The player wants to stays with us because he understands that he must find a team that gives him the opportunity to play,” Colomba added.
Amauri regained his early Juventus form at the Stadio Tardini, but Colomba is uncertain whether the striker will be at his disposal next season.
“Amauri is a Juve player, therefore they must decide together with him. I have had the pleasure of coaching Amauri in the past six months. He is a player of great strength, very explosive in the penalty area and he is determined.”
Giovinco played 30 times for Parma in season 2010/11, scoring seven times. Amauri made 11 appearances, also scoring on seven occasions. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
