Colomba is the new Parma Coach

Parma have entrusted their Serie A survival on Franco Colomba, who replaces the sacked Pasquale Marino.
The club released a statement which indicates Colomba has a contract until the end of the 2011/12 season. He will guide the team in his session as Coach after today’s official presentation.
A vastly experienced tactician, the 55-year-old has enjoyed spells at the likes of Napoli, Udinese, Cagliari and most recently as boss of Bologna in season 2009/10. Colomba was able to steer the Rossoblu to safety then and will be hoping to do the same with the Ducali.
Marino lost the backing of the Club hierarchy after Sunday’s 1-2 loss at home to Bari. Parma are one of five Club’s fighting it out to avoid two relegation spots and are currently sitting in 16th position on 32 points. The run home sees Parma up against title chasing Inter, plus Lazio, Udinese, Juventus and Palermo. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
