Colombian striker joining Chievo

Chievo’s transfer business for January has sprung into life as they are due to sign Colombian striker Carlos Bacca in the next few days.
The club have already wrapped up deals for Slovenian teenagers Denis Sme and Rudar Valenje, but whilst they are seen as investments for the future, the acquisition of Bacca is expected to be enhance their first-team immediately.
Bacca, 25, currently plays for Atletico Junior in his homeland but Chievo have been scouting him for some time. They reportedly wanted to take him on a season-long loan last summer but Bacca’s club refused, citing that only a permanent transfer would appeal to them.
As a result, Chievo have again approached Atletico and the two clubs seem to have agreed on a fee, which is undisclosed at the moment. Bacca is expected in Italy in the next day or two.
The striker has two caps for his country and when he is officially registered at the start of January, he should go straight into Chievo’s squad. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
