Cossu wants Cagliari stay

Andrea Cossu has told the Gazzetta dello Sport he wants to remain at Cagliari for the remainder of his career. The attacking midfielder says he feels fine in Sardinia and does not intend to move.
“I want to end my career here, where I feel really good. I want to remain in Cagliari for life, I hope that I can talk about renewing my contract as soon as possible,” said the Italian international, whose contract runs out in 2012.
Cagliari born, Cossu is in his second stint with the Rossoblu. This season he has made 31 appearances but only netted twice. The 30-year-old scored his first goal at the Stadio Sant’Elia last Sunday, where he got the opener in the Isolani’s 1-1 draw with Brescia.
Cossu explained: “It [the goal] was a release. The first goal of the season at the Sant’Elia, my stadium, for this I will hold the flag high. It is a unique emotion.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
