Del Piero demands more concentration form Juventus

Club Captain Alessandro Del Piero has demanded more of his Juventus team mates after back to back defeats. The darling of the Juventus faithful however, is confident that his side can stop the rot should they show more focus.
The year has started poorly for the Bianconeri, their first game of the New Year saw them crash to a 4-1 home defeat to Parma, a game that not only saw them leak four goals but also loose Felipe Melo to a unnecessary red card and Fabio Quagliarella to a serious injury. Their next game was away at the San Paolo and saw them take on Napoli. Things did not get much better here as Edinson Cavani’s hat-trick saw Juventus slump to a 3-0 defeat. This now leaves Luigi Del Neri’s side nine points behind Milan and in sixth place.
Del Piero had his own motivational message for his team saying: “It’s not an easy time for us. In these cases, words mean nothing and we must do the talking on the pitch. We have to come out of this situation as soon as possible and not be affected by pessimism and negativity. The year has only just begun and there are many games left to play. We have to concentrate on what we have to do rather than on what we have not done and focus on our Coppa Italia match against Catania and in Sunday’s game against Bari.”
Juventus have a good chance to put the last two weeks behind them as they face Catania at home on Thursday and then bottom of the table Bari on the weekend. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
