Del Piero linked with foreign adventure

Alessandro Del Piero has interested parties in foreign leagues, according to Tuttosport.
The announcement by Juventus President Andrea Agnelli the talismanic captain will not play at the club next season was made earlier in the week, but the player himself has not stated his plans for 2012/13 and beyond.
Del Piero, who has previously stated his desire to play until he is 40, may opt for a foreign experience rather than retire immediately, before taking up a position at Juve as expected.
His aspiration to continue has alerted Swiss club Sion, who have made the former Italian international an offer. There is also alleged English curiosity, with Fulham and Aston Villa linked.
Finally, the Turin newspaper notes interest from LA Galaxy in the MLS, where David Beckham, and old friend of Del Piero’s, plies his trade. There has been reported contact between the two parties in the recent past.
