Del Piero rejoices after Juve’s match-winner

Alessandro Del Piero and his Juventus teammates were able to celebrate a win for the first time in a month after the captain struck midway through the second half against Brescia yesterday.
Tension around the Stadio Olimpico di Torino grew when Milos Krasic’s opener was cancelled out by the Brazilian Eder, but then Del Piero took center stage. Pinturicchio hopes his fifth goal of the season can lift the team out of the mire.
“The goal? I dedicate it to the entire Club because it was much needed. We want to leave this bad period and we hope that our good fortune continues,” stated the no.10 to Sky Sport 24 after the match.
Del Piero has linked up to good effect with Alessandro Matri in the matches with Cesena and Brescia. And there have been calls for him to start alongside the January recruit and the man himself affirmed he is always looking to play 90 minutes.
“Do I want to play from the start of the match? I say yes, but I know I am part of a group and I accept the selection choices from the Coach.”
With rumours surrounding his future, Del Piero was quick to assure supporters he is only thinking of the Bianconeri.
“I will remain here next year because by speaking to the President I can see that he and I share common desires. I will be very happy to continue playing here.
My first priority right now is on the pitch, not the contract. I am available for next season, but I do not want to concentrate on this because the remaining matches of the season are very important.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
