Della Valle: Europe key for Fiorentina

Fiorentina’s main financial backer Diego Della Valle has today made public his views that Fiorentina must be in regular European competition. There remarks will put extra pressure on Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic who up until now has been shown total support from his employers.
Calciomercatoweb reported that Diego Della Valle has spoken out about Fiorentina’s progress and indicated that he wants the club to be regular qualifiers for European competition: “Fiorentina’s dimension is not that of today, it’s a European dimension,” These comments have been triggered by La Viola’s 2-2 home draw with Roma this weekend that saw them slip down to ninth place. With only eight games to go the Florentine side are none points off sixth spot and they have a very tricky fixture list to contend with.
It should be noted that everything is not doom and gloom for Fiorentina, Mihajlovic has managed to string together a run of five matched without defeat and Adrian Mutu is looking to be back to his mesmerising best.
The problem is that La Viola have to play Milan, Juventus, Udinese and Inter before the end of the season and Sinsa will have to perform miracles to recoup nine points with this run in. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
