Denis hits out at Napoli for not having faith in him

Former Napoli striker German Denis has taken a side swipe at some of his former employers in the build up to this weekend’s game between Udinese and the Vesuviani.
Speaking on Radio Kiss Kiss, the 29-year-old Argentinean explained that he was happy with his move to the Stadio Friuli: “Udinese was the right choice for me, I hope to continue to be a very important player for this club”.
He then talked about the reasons behind his move away from Southern giants stating that: “(Walter) Mazzarri had faith in me but not (Aurelio) De Laurentiis or (Riccardo) Bigon. I thank the people of Napoli and I am happy to have played for such a great club. I spoke to the coach Mazzarri and he was happy for me to stay, but I made my choice to go to Udinese”.
Napoli are enjoying an excellent start to the season and sit in third place while Udinese on the other hand are in eleventh place in the standings.
