Di Benedetto could move for Ancelotti

Vincenzo Montella has to reach the Champions League or risk losing his job at the end of the season. This was the message from Thomas Di Benedetto, Roma’s new American owner who is believed to be lining up Carlo Ancelotti next season just in case.
The Daily Mail reported the American businessman saying: “Montella has seven games to show us his worth, because we have to be in the Champions’ League next season,” When he was asked if Ancelotti would be the man to take over at the end of the season Di Benedetto refused to answer any questions. By neither confirming nor denying this the feeling is that the Chelsea manager is certainly in the frame.
Montella must now try and lift his team after they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Juventus this weekend. The former Giallorossi striker spoke to press after the game: “It was an important game for us. We were possibly distracted by the results from the other games. We have to analyse what went wrong and start looking ahead now. The championship isn’t over yet and we have another important game coming up against Udinese.”
