Di Natale dedicates win to Coda

Sunday’s goalscoring hero, Antonio Di Natale, dedicated Udinese’s 2-1 win over Lazio to injured team-mate Andrea Coda.
The central defender underwent knee surgery last week after injuring his cruciate ligament in the Friuli’s 5-2 loss to Fiorentina, and club captain, Di Natale, was quick to devote Sunday’s crucial win to Coda. Speaking to Udinese’s official website, the star striker said: “Today’s win is for Andrea. He is a very special man who is in a difficult moment. I want to tell him that the whole team is thinking of him.
“As for the Champions League, nothing is decided yet. We go to Chievo next week knowing that we have played a wonderful game today, but that we face another tough battle.”

Asked about his goalscoring exploits this season, Di Natale added: “My 28 goals? They are dedicated to those in August who said that I wouldn’t score 10.”
With two games remaining – away to Chievo and home to Milan – Udinese currently sit in fourth position, two points clear of Roma, dreaming of a place in next year’s Champions League.
