Di Natale: “Time to celebrate”

Antonio Di Natale, one of the driving forces of Udinese’s success this season, spoke to Sky Sport after the match and told of his great joy of reaching the Champions League.
Toto missed a penalty, but it mattered little as Udinese got the point they required in a 0-0 draw with Milan. They were pushed all the way by Lazio, who defeated Lecce 4-2 on the final day and also finished on 66 points with the Friuli.
The two teams were locked on the first four ladder deciders and so their final position was determined by overall goal difference which saw the Zebrette claim their place in Europe for the first time in six years.
Di Natale, Serie A’s leading goalscorer for the second straight campaign after his 28-goal haul, noted: “To score 57 goals in two years is a great source of pride for me and for the city. I dedicate this achievement to my family.”
“Physically we felt good even today. It was a great match and now is the time for there to be a great celebration.”

Udinese will enter the Champions League at the play-off round but might have a tough time keeping hold of all their stars over the summer.
