Di Natale Udinese exit rumours persist

Antonio Di Natale has once again been linked with a move away from Udinese, although his agent has insisted he is happy at the club.
In the summer, Juventus had identified Udinese’s captain as part of their squad overhaul, but Di Natale surprisingly turned them down. Despite publicly announcing his intention to end his career in Udine, reports have resurfaced that Fiorentina and Spanish side Hercules want to sign the veteran striker.
But Di Natale’s agent, Bruno Carpeggiani, has dismissed these rumours out of hand, claiming: “He is an Udinese player and won’t be going anywhere. The interest from Fiorentina and Hercules? There is nothing true, it is only rumours.”
Di Natale was Serie A’s top scorer last season, and was a part of Italy’s World Cup team that flopped so disastrously. Udinese’s start to the season has also been very underwhelming, and they currently occupy bottom spot, leading to the apparent renewed interest in their star man Di Natale.
