Diamanti: “Eto’o admitted it wasn’t a penalty”

After helping his Brescia side to a hard earned point at the Giusseppe Meazza stadium last night, midfielder Alessandro Diamanti explained to Sky Italia that his team were unfortunate not to take all three points.
The 27-year-old told reporters that after having been awarded a controversial penalty in the closing stages of the match, Inter striker Samuel Eto’o admitted to him that he was lucky to get the decision stating that: “he spoke to me on the field and told me that it was no penalty, he said that he put his foot on the ball and then slipped”.
The visitors had taken the lead after 15 minutes with a goal from Andrea Caracciolo and looked set to claim a shock win but the game took a controversial twist with just 17 minutes to go.
