Diego has no grudge against Juventus

Former Juventus man Diego has wished his former club well after being offloaded to Wolfsburg this summer.
Diego only played one season in Turin, after Juve paid Werder Bremen 25 million Euros for him, seeing the Brazilian as a replacement for Pavel Nedved. But Diego never hit the heights expected of him, and just a year later, was sold back to the Bundesliga.
The new Wolfsburg signing said: “I still speak with many of the Juventus players. I always stay well informed. I speak with Felipe Melo, Amauri, Grosso and Sissoko. I have many friends at Juve and I wish the Bianconeri all the best. I did what I had to do well, but it didn’t all depend on me, but also on those who were in command of the club. I can’t forget Italy. I was happy.”
When asked about Juventus’ Scudetto hopes, Diego said: “Inter no longer seem to be that much stronger than the others. Juve can do very well. I don’t know if they will win, but they certainly have the team to do very well.”
