Roberto Donadoni has been named the new Coach of Parma after the Ducali sacked Franco Colomba.
Parma’s 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday night spelled the end for Colomba, who had been in charge of the Gialloblu since April 2011.
Gigi Delneri was also considered for the role, however Parma announced that former Italian national team boss Donadoni has been appointed. He has a contract that will run until June 2013.
Parma are 15th in the table and Donadoni’s first match will come this weekend against Siena.
