Doubts raised about Lopez signing

Milan have been reported to have been holding an interest in Catania striker Maxi Lopez for the previous month and are rumoured to have signed the Argentinian on loan. According to Sky Sport 24, the deal has been put on hold following Milan’s moves to try and sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
“Whoever comes to Milan in January will be on loan for free, with an option to make that stay permanent,” Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.
City are thought to be unwilling to let go of Tevez on a temporary deal and are looking for a permanent deal from the Milanese outfit.
Lopez has not seen much playing time at Catania this season and is thought to be looking forward to making a switch switch. Catania chief executive Pietro La Monaco had told Radio Kiss Kiss, “Maxi Lopez is a player who can do very well in any team and the fact that Milan like him gives us satisfaction.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
