Dunga fancies Fiorentina

Former Brazilian Coach Carlos Dunga has spoken out about his dream to manage Fiorentina. The 47-year old is keen to return to the team where he made 124 appearances from 1988-92.
Speaking to Radio Toscana the Brazilian said: “I have many offers from Europe, but I would love to return to live in Florence, I dream of Florence and want to bring my kids there to continue living in a city where I was very happy.” Dunga spent a lot of time in Italy as a player and played for Pisa and Pescara as well as L’Viola.
The World Cup winners dreams may not be far from coming true as this season Fiorentina have failed to impress and are languishing in mid table. Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has come under pressure from the fans and is unlikely to be in charge come the start of next season.
Fiorentina are reportedly readying themselves for some wholesale changes in the summer and Adrian Mutu and Sebastien Frey will be put on the market, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. With rumours of Riccardo Montolivo leaving for Inter and Alberto Gilardino also being a target for many clubs this overhaul of players could signal a new era.
