Eduardo to Roma and Doni to Genoa?

Calciomercato.it has claimed that a goalkeeping switch will take place between Genoa’s Portuguese custodian Eduardo and Roma’s Brazilian shot stopper Doni.
With Genoa’s primary transfer target Federico Marchetti looking increasingly unlikely, their next target looks like being Roma’s former number one Doni. Although yesterday Ovidio Colucci (Doni’s agent) said “We have not had any communication yet, not with the Club (Roma) or with Genoa. You must ask Roma. I do not know anything about this.” It is now thought that the clubs are set to swap custodians in a deal that will suit both parties.
Doni has fallen down the pecking order at Roma after being displaced by Julio Sergio and Bogdan Lobont, however, it is no secret that he does not hide his desire to be a first team regular and Genoa could provide him with this. Eduardo has some high profile errors this term most memorably against Sulley Muntari and Antonio Di Natale and it seems that his coach Davide Ballardini has lost confidence in him.
At Roma however, Eduardo who is still only 28 years old will have to fight for his place and maybe able to recapture the form showed at his previous club Braga.
