Elmander rules out January Inter switch

Bolton striker Johan Elmander has pledged his future to the club until the end of the season, ruling out any chance of moving to Inter in January.
The Swede has been in devastating form for Bolton this season but his contract expires in June. Inter were therefore considering tempting Bolton with a bid in the January transfer window to lure Elmander to Italy.
But the 29-year-old has now stated: “Of course as a footballer you’d like to have a big contract, but I don’t want to comment on negotiations.
“I will give myself fully to Bolton while I am here and when my contract runs out in the summer, we will see.
“I have never been a player who goes after money, I have always chosen with my heart and the feeling I have in the pit of my stomach.”

Inter will now have to decide whether to wait until the end of the season to try and sign Elmander, or to look elsewhere for a new striker.
