Eto’o set for Inter loan return

Samuel Eto’o took advantage of the international break this week to pay a return visit to Milan, where the Anzhi player raised the possibility of a short loan spell back at Inter.
He would be able to move back to his former club during the Russian league’s winter break from 6th November until 3rd March to avoid the worst of the winter weather. Theoretically, Eto’o could be loaned to Inter from 2nd January.
Anzhi would have to agree to any move but Inter’s president, Massimo Moratti, may quite like the idea, telling Sport Mediaset: “For me, it could be done”. Inter have space in their squad for Eto’o and the player won’t be taking part in the African Cup of Nations as Cameroon haven’t qualified for the finals.
Any loan period could give Coach, Claudio Ranieri, a real boost – Eto’o would be eligible to play a maximum of nine games, starting with a home game vs. Parma, followed by the first Milan derby on 15th January. Inter then play Lazio, Lecce, Palermo, Roma, Novara and Bologna before the final game prior to the restart of the Russian league at Parma on 26th February. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
