Eto’o: The Milan derby will change the course of the title, not decide it

Inter’s prolific striker Samuel Eto’o has insisted that although the Derby della Madonnina will affect the title race, it will not decide it.
Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport the Cameroonian international spoke with a sense of realism: “The derby is a game that can change the course of the championship for just one week. After the game there will be another seven matches to go and only the last four rounds will decide who wins it.
“But it all depends on Milan because they are first at the minute. If they win all of their remaining games then they will take the title. They are the favourites, the favourites are always the team who are first.”

Eto’o has been in sparkling for this term scoring 29 goals in 37 games, this has prompted Inter legend Lothar Matthaus to speak out and praise him: “I think Eto’o could decide the game in favour of Inter. He’s their extra man, a great champion at the service of his team. He’s a delight for any Coach.”
Despite the pragmatic approach to the Milan tie taken by Eto’o he will certainly be hoping that he can add to his impressive goal tally. If the Nerazzurri close the gap this weekend it will be interesting to see if Inter’s hit man is still as grounded. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
