Farfan flattered by Juventus interest

Jefferson Farfan has admitted that he is flattered by reported interest from Serie A giants Juventus.
The Schalke centre forward has been in fantastic form in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season, leading to stories of a move away from Germany.
And the Peruvian striker has welcomed the transfer talk, conceding that he is a big fan of Juve and also confessing that he would find it hard to turn down a move to Turin.
However, Farfan is also aware that with a year still remaining on his contract Schalke may not be willing to let him go in the summer.
“I know Juventus and what they represent for Italian and European football,” he told Tuttosport.
“At the age of 26 I certainly wouldn’t mind going there for a team of that level. What my future holds doesn’t just depend on me, but also Schalke, as my contract lasts until June 2012.”
The striker began his career with Alianza Lima before getting his move to Europe with PSV Eindhoven in 2004.
