Fiorentina deny Dunga will replace Mihajlovic

Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has told the club’s official website that there are no plans to sack manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, and replace him with Dunga.
Mihajlovic only took over the Fiorentina job in the summer after Cesare Prandelli took the national team reigns. Mihajlovic, though, has had a torrid start to life in Florence, with the Viola rooted in the bottom half of the table.
Question marks have already been raised about his suitability for the job, causing Mihajlovic to announce that he will not resign. It is perhaps no surprise to see that Fiorentina have been linked with their former iconic midfielder Dunga.
Dunga, who was sacked as Brazil manager after the World Cup, made his name as a world-class player with Fiorentina in the 1990s, and would be an obvious alternative if Mihajlovic was sacked.
