Fiorentina have Behrami bid rejected

Fiorentina’s attempts to further bolster their squad in the January transfer window have taken a blow as West Ham have rejected their bid for Valon Behrami.
It has been reported that Behrami had agreed personal terms with the Serie A outfit, but West Ham pulled the plug on a deal when their asking price wasn’t met.
The Swiss midfielder has been linked with a return to Serie A for some time and Fiorentina are still thought to be leading the race to sign him, despite competition from Roma.
The 25-year-old made a name for himself with Lazio between 2005 and 2008, meaning a possible move to Roma would be highly controversial, which has given Fiorentina the edge in the transfer battle.
Fiorentina are not thought to have ended their interest despite their original offer being rebuffed.
Behrami’s desire to return to Italy is clear and the Florence-based club could return to London with a second bid in order to make him their second arrival of the transfer window behind Brazilian goalkeeper Neto. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
