Fiorentina midfielder Montolivo in high spirits

Fiorentina captain Riccardo Montolivo is remaining optimistic over the Viola’s poor start to the season – as well as his injury.
The Azzurri international has been struggling with an ankle problem for a number of weeks and was even enduring the pain to take part in his clubs fixtures.
Speaking to Mediaset Premium, the 25-year old believes that one or two good results will make a world of difference aswell as giving his backing to under fire Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic – who according to Montolivo, shares a “great” relationship with the team.
“We’re a tight group, and the relationship with the coach is great. I think it is a problem mentally, were only missing the results. They make the difference.” Regarding his injury he said, “The ankle is doing fine. I hope to recover quickly.”
The Florence based side will travel to Genoa on Sunday to face Sampdoria who are also lingering in the bottom half of the table. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
