Five players suspended for round nine of Serie A

Five players will miss this weekend’s round of matches through suspension. Juventus midfielder Milos Krasic starts the first of his two game ban for simulation after winning his side a controversial penalty against Bologna last Sunday. The Serbian international will be a big loss for the Bianconeri as they entertain Milan in Saturday evening’s big game.
Other players that will have to make do with a seat in the stands this weekend are Udinese defender Andrea Coda, Napoli midfielder Michele Pazienza, Cesena’s Swiss defender Steve Von Bergen and Catania striker Maxi Lopez.
Meanwhile six clubs have been fined for misdemeanours carried out by their supporters. Napoli, Inter, Lecce, Milan, Parma and Bari have been asked to pay a total of 40 thousand Euros between them after flares and firecrackers were let off at their respective matches in round eight of the championship.
