Five players to miss midweek Serie A through suspension

After round 10 of Serie A fixtures, five players will sit out their respective club’s midweek games. Maximiliano Pellegrini of Cesena, Gennaro Gattuso of Milan, Marco Cassetti of Roma, Alessandro Potenza of Catania and Cristian Zapata of Udinese all get the week off.
Cesena president Igor Campedelli will be asked to attend a disciplinary hearing to explain his actions in Turin on Sunday. The patron entered the referee’s dressing room at half-time in his team’s game against Juventus to vent his anger at what he believed to be unjust decisions against the newly promoted side – the hearing will take place on November 15.
Finally, Roma and Lazio have been fined around 20 thousand pounds after supporters from both sides threw missiles, bottles and firecrackers during Sunday’s Rome derby. Napoli face a five thousand pound fine whilst Brescia and Palermo will have to pay around two thousand pounds in respect of the behaviour of their supporters in round 10 of the championship.
