Floro Flores nears Juventus deal

Reports in the Corriere dello Sport suggest that Antonio Floro Flores will become the next January signing for Juventus.
Juventus have been hit by and unprecedented string of injuries to their front men as first Fabio Quagliarella was ruled out for the season and then Luca Toni who was signed from Genoa to replace him also fell foul of injury.
Udinese have made Floro Flores available for transfer in January and although Bologna and Genoa have shown interest it seems that it is Juventus who are now in pole position to sign the Neapolitan. The deal suggested would be that Floro Flores would be sent on loan for six months to Juventus at a cost of 1.5 million Euros. Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has promised a new forward and it is thought he would like to conclude this deal by Monday at the latest; however, it is very unlikely that Juventus will pay the 5 million Euros for a full transfer.
Udinese are keen to cash in on the 27-year-old and Juventus will face stiff competition from Genoa who are looking to replace Luca Toni who moved to Juventus at the start of the transfer window. Should the Turin giants miss out on Floro Flores then it is reported that also have Luis Fabiano and Diego Forlan in their sights.
