Floro Flores regrets missing Champions League opportunity after famous night in Udine

Udinese recorded a victory against Atletico Madrid in the Europa League last night in dramatic fashion as two late goals snatched victory over their Spanish visitors.
After sealing the victory with the second goal forward Antonio Floro Flores expressed his lament that Udinese were not showcasing their talents on an even greater stage. “We faced a great team but we created the clearest opportunities. It is a pity we failed to qualify for the Champions League, we could have got somewhere.”
The result does not tell the whole story of the match as Spanish side dominated the first half but failed to punish their opponents. Francesco Guidolin, Udinese Head Coach, was happy to admit this speaking to UEFA.com following the encounter. “We did not play well in the first half, maybe too much timidity but in the second half we turned up the pace and ran to the end.”
