Forlan in talks with Juventus

Tuttosport has claimed that Diego Forlan is Juventus’s next target and that talks have already begun to bring the 31-year-old Uruguayan to Turin.
Forlan who currently plies his trade at Atletico Madrid is poised to be Juventus’s answer to their forward problem. With Fabio Quagliarella and Luca Toni both out injured the Bianconeri will look to the two time winner of the Pichichi Trophy to solve their problems. Forlan’s goal scoring record in Spain has been superb, at Villarreal he scored 54 goals in 116 games whilst his record for Madrid at present stands at 73 in 119.
Forlan will not come cheap and although 31 years of age his goal scoring could cost Juventus something in the region of 14 million Euros. Even so talks are reported to being in an advances stage and agent Daniel Fabian Bolotnicoff was reported to be in Turin on Wednesday. The Uruguayan is angling for a three year deal worth 4.5 million euros per annum, Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta is expected to accept this.
With Juventus looking to re-shape their squad Forlan could be the exact player they need to fill the void left by Fabio Quagliarella, who is out injured for the season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
