Forlan keen on Serie A move

Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan has not moved out a move to Serie A in his future. The World Cup star has been linked with Italy’s top flight before but now admits there is a possibility of a move to the Peninsula.
In January this year, Tuttosport claimed that Forlan was Juventus’s next target and that talks had already begun to bring the 31-year-old Uruguayan to Turin. At the time both Fabio Quagliarella and Luca Toni were both out injured and were Juventus’s main striking options, therfore it was thought that a 14 million euro bid would bring him to Serie A.
This move did not materialise and Serie A looked to have missed out. However, in a recent interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, Forlan hinted: “I do not exclude that in the future, if a good offer came to me and the club, a proposal that was not only suitable economically but also from the perspective that it was an important club, (then) I would accept.”
Any club that managed to secure his signature would get a proven goal scorer, his record at Villarreal stands at 54 goals in 116 games whilst his record for Madrid at present stands at 73 in 119. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
