Forlan: “The best is yet to come”

Inter forward Diego Forlan has spoken to the Inter Channel about his progress on return from injury, the inconstant Nerazzurri form and the possibility of linking up with international team mate Luis Suarez in Italy.
Forlan who arrived this summer from Spain has not had the easiest of starts to his career in Milan but is pleased to be heading in the right direction after a lengthy lay off. “I’m doing fine, well physically. I am still training alone it is important to train to improve my condition but I can now set a date for my return.”
The Uruguayan international also reflected on Inter’s start to the season, suggesting:“Why so strong in the Champions League but no continuity in the league? There is never a logical answer in football. It is important to qualify in the Champions League and in the league we haven’t had luck. Against Juventus we were playing well and they scored two goals on the break. This situation is like that – everything is going wrong – the best is yet to come.”
The man who fired his national side to Coppa America glory this summer also spoke of the possibility of his in international team mate, Luis Suarez, finding his way to Serie A. “He’s doing well at Liverpool, a great team.
