Former Parma striker Milosevic condemns Genoa riots

Savo Milosevic, the ex-Parma striker, has labelled the riots on Tuesday night as “the darkest day in Serbian football history” after their hooligans caused the Italy match to be abandoned.
Milosevic won 102 caps for Serbia, dating back to when the country was Serbia and Montenegro, and Yugoslavia. He played for Parma for just two seasons after failing to score regularly enough, but has become the latest Serbian to bemoan the hooligans that undermined the national team.
About the riots at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, he said: “I cannot imagine that all this was provoked by animosity towards the goalkeeper. These things are far more serious and more dangerous. In the last 20 years the State has done nothing to stop this violence.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
