Four candidates to takeover at Fiorentina

The Gazzetta dello Sport has drawn up a list of four names as potential replacements at Fiorentina for under-fire Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic. The Serbian only got the job in the summer after Cesare Prandelli left to take the Italian national team position but his spot on the bench is in doubt after a lacklustre season. Injuries to key players have not helped his cause but Fiorentina are on course for their lowest finish since 2007.
The pink daily has given the former Bologna boss a 45% chance of retaining his position at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, which highlights the doubts surrounding the current reign.
In the lead to replace Mihajlovic is former Genoa Coach Gian Piero Gapserini, who was sacked earlier in the season. Gasperini is also rated at 45% and would be an attractive prospect because of his willingness to attack and his understanding and acceptance of younger players. La Viola would have a strong foundation for next season with their current squad in relation to Gasperini’s favoured 3-4-3 formation.
Coming in behind Gasperini is former Gigliati player, Brazilian captain and Coach, Dunga, at 5%. The other two names on the list are newly unemployed Delio Rossi and Marco Giampaolo, sacked as Catania tactician before Christmas. These two have been handed a 2.5% chance each.
