Galliani: “Milan in the front row for Balotelli”

Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has said that his side will be one of the first in the pecking order shall Manchester City decide to sell Italian starlet Mario Balotelli.
The young ex-Inter player has been constantly linked with a return to Milan but on the red and black side rather than the blue and black as he is a self-confessed Rossoneri fan.
Galliani who had previously ruled out a move for Balotelli expressed his openness to the idea: “I don’t think Manchester City will sell him soon but if this happens we will be there.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently stated he would like to reunite with Balotelli having played with him at the Nerazzurri and Galliani believes that if this is to happen it will be at Milan.
“Balotelli has signed a five-year contract. If he and Ibrahimovic are to be together again this will most certainly take place here in Milan.”
Injuries to Filippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato have meant that Milan are struggling upfront especially as the former has been ruled out for the season.
“If there is a possibility, a striker will arrive in January as for the other departments we are completely covered. So I say our market activity will be between zero and on”, said the Rossoneri CEO.
The Rossoneri are well known to be in the market for a striker in January and apart from Balotelli other names like Karim Benzema and Cagliari’s Alessandro Matri have also come up.
“Benzema, who has often approached us, will stay in Madrid so I am told my friend Florentino (Perez). Matri? Cellino is just not ready to sell him in January.”
Milan are currently top of the Serie A, three points ahead of Lazio and have made it through to the second round of the Champions League. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
