Galliani targets more transfers for Milan

After confirming the signings of Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo, AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has revealed that the squad will be strengthened further during the summer break.
Milan Coach Max Allegri announced earlier this week that Mexes and Taiwo would be joining the Rossoneri on free transfers starting next season and Galliani has now verified the deals.
“I can tell you that Mexes and Taiwo have officially signed for the club,” Galliani told reporters. Central defender Mexes joins from Serie A rivals AS Roma, while Taiwo links up with the Champions after six years in France with Marseille.
Galliani is delighted that the club have already boosted their defensive options ahead of next season, and has now set his sights on other transfer targets as Milan prepare for an assault on regaining the Champions League trophy.
“These two are our first additions in view of the new season, which is based around trying to reconquer the Champions League. I’m not going to provide names but we will definitely buy some more players. The squad will be further reinforced.”
This is not the first time that Milan have talked about signing more players. In the aftermath of their Scudetto win, club President Silvio Berlusconi promised another ‘present’ for the fans. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
