Galliani: Winning the Champions League is more important than the Scudetto

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that success in the Champions League is more important to the club than domestic honours.
The Rossoneri have just came off the back of a 1-0 derby victory over bitter rivals and Scudetto holders Inter and are heavily tipped to end their seven year wait for a league title.
Although Galliani has a preference towards winning the Champions League he is adamant they can remain in top spot in Serie A come the end of May.
Speaking to, he said.
“For us the Champions League means something more. But the Scudetto, if all goes well this season, will be our first in seven years and there is the desire to win.”
Milan currently lie in second place in group G of the Champions League, five points behind Real Madrid who occupy the top spot. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
