Galliani wishes Inter well for the Club World Cup

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has extended his best wishes to cross town rivals Inter as they prepare to start their campaign in the Club World Cup.
“Forza Inter, we are rivals in the league but not in international competition”, declared Galliani hoping that Inter get the world title back to Italy.
Galliani’s gesture was significant considering that when Milan won the trophy in 2007, then Inter Coach Roberto Mancini had said that the Rossoneri had won only a ‘friendly’ trophy.
The Milan Vice President however, had not forgotten about this: “Mancini told us when we won, that it was friendship tournament. But well we really felt like world champions.”
The Rossoneri executive also expressed his delight at the club’s dominance in Serie A that has seen them go six points clear at the top and remain unbeaten in the league since late October.
“It is a nice place to be but the road is still long. We’ve played only 16 of the 38 matches so far… Juventus are close to us, which is normal considering their team and Coach and I’m sure Inter will return as well.”
Milan’s leading striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic also came in for some strong praise from Galliani who believes that he will play in instrumental part in the Rossoneri’s future successes.
“Ibra is the summer hit. He is very strong, quite extraordinary in fact. He won so much because is a winner, strong, determined, and he deserves the success he had and I hope those who have with us.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
