Garrone and Cavasin to stay on at Sampdoria

The Garrone family are set to stay on as owners of Sampdoria despite what division they might find themselves in next year. This confirmation arrived yesterday at the Bogliasco headquarters where Edoardo Garrone, son of Riccardo Garrone, told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“We will continue to go ahead even in the case of relegation to Serie B.” He stated. “My family has no intention to leave: there have been beautiful moments, we will be here for those not so beautiful. We are looking to give our best. I am here in place of my dad who has gone abroad, he asked me to speak to everyone and represent the company.”
Edoardo Garrone later commented on the future of their Coach Alberto Cavasin who has been rumoured to be sacked, in which the four games he has coached has only managed to bring home one point.
“We will continue with him even in the case of a defeat to Milan. With regards to the sporting director, we are waiting to see in which division we will play in next year.”
The ‘bluecerchiati’ have only one point more than Cesena at the end of week 31 who are third last in the table. The team have two away games coming up against Milan on Saturday and against Bari on April 23. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
