Gattuso fears Milan could throw the title away

Milan’s veteran midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has spoken about his fears that Milan may fall at the last hurdle and fail to win the Scudetto. The title has evaded the Rossoneri for six years and now that the pressure is on Gattuso has questioned his own teams resolve.
After defeat at Palermo this weekend Gattuso spoke to Sky Sport 24, he admitted his team are feeling the pressure after relinquishing a 13 point advantage and that the Milan derby could be make or break: “There’s always fear because having earned just one point from our last two games makes you realise that there are worries. We conceded two naive goals in the last two games, we created many chances but scored just one goal. We need to be more ruthless, more clinical and we also need a bit of luck. We know that right now we need to do something more, what we’re doing isn’t enough.”
The 33 year old went on to say that Milan have respect for Inter and that the Derby is by far a fore gone conclusion: “Inter also struggled to beat Lecce at home, there aren’t any easy games. The more you go forward, the more the games are difficult. We have a lot of respect for Inter and we have to prepare well for the derby. Wins give you conviction and right now Inter have more of that than us. They’ve been winning for the last four or five years and that gives you strength.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
