Genoa Ultras announce: “we will travel to Rome”

In the aftermath of Tuesday evening’s events in their city, a section of Genoa’s hardcore support has announced that it will travel to Rome for Saturday night’s match against Roma.
The authorities had deemed this fixture as a potential risk and therefore had limited travel to supporters living in the Liguria region who were in possession of the Tessere del Tifoso (Club identity card), which is now mandatory throughout Italy. Many hard-line ultra groups have refused to sign up to the agreement and Genoa’s “Gradinata Nord” are no exception.
Speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, a spokesman for the group explained that: “we will travel the Stadio Olimpico despite not having the relevant documentation. We do this to exercise our belief that we should be free to travel wherever we want. We will go to Rome by coach and remain outside the stadium”. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
