Genoa undecided over goalkeeper issue

After a solid performance against Chievo, Eduardo may have saved his immediate future as Genoa goalkeeper.
According to Corriere dello Sport, i Grifoni may miss out on a move for Cagliari’s Federico Marchetti, currently frozen out of the squad due to a disagreement with President Massimo Cellino in the summer.
Cellino is reluctant to release the Italian international at this moment despite the ongoing dispute. However, the club are rumoured to be in the market for a number of other shot-stopper’s as doubts remain over the Portuguese international.
The newspaper states there are two possible replacements being lined up by the port-city Club – AZ Alkmaar’s Argentinean ‘keeper Sergio Romero, who would only move in June, and Roma’s out-of-favour Brazilian goalkeeper Alexander Doni.
Doni’s agent, Ovidio Colucci, spoke to, stating: “We have not had any communication yet, not with the Club (Roma) or with Genoa. You must ask Roma. I do not know anything about this.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
