Guidolin: Udinese deserved more

Udinese Coach Francesco Guidolin was happy about his side’s performance but feels they deserved to leave Genoa with at least a point.
A pulsating clash at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris saw the hosts score three times in the second half to run out 3-2 winners, despite having Marco Rossi controversially sent off.
Udinese took a first-half lead, but in a three minute spell after the interval meant the lead evaporated: “I liked the match very much, I didn’t like the result. We could have won after the first half, but we wasted it all in the first three minutes of the second half,” Guidolin told the club’s official website.
“We could taste victory, but we didn’t manage to handle the game. If we keep playing as we did today, we won’t lose much. But we didn’t deserve to lose this one.”
Guidolin admitted Rossi was unlucky to be shown a red card for a foul on Antonio Di Natale, but also feels his side was deserving of a spot-kick: “I think the penalty on Di Natale wasn’t there, but I believe we should have been granted the one on [Pablo] Armero. Referees can be wrong.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
