Hercules may allow Drenthe’s Juve move

Royston Drenthe could yet end up at Juventus before the closing of the transfer window tonight, but any deal depends on a financial agreement between Real Madrid and Hercules.
Drenthe has spent this season on loan with Hercules from Real, so both clubs would have to agree to cut this deal short in order for the player to link up with Juve.
However, the only way that Hercules would agree to let Drenthe go is if Real compensate the €500,000 that they have spent on the 23-year-old’s salary so far this season.
Hercules have experienced financial difficulties this season and have been unable to pay some of their players. Drenthe went on strike and refused to play for the club until he was paid in full, and Hercules are keen to send him back to Real as a result.
In order to smooth over the complicated deal, Juve may offer Real the €500,000 that Hercules are demanding to cut Drenthe’s loan short.
The Bianconeri would then loan him from Real until the end of the season, where they would have an option to buy him.
