Hernandez happy at Palermo

Palermo striker Abel Hernandez has insisted that he is happy with the club, just days after revealing that Inter were interested in signing him.
The 20-year-old Uruguay international joined the Sicily based club in 2009 from Penarol and has impressed during his spell in Italy.
Hernandez himself suggested that his recent form had alerted the attention of Inter president Massimo Moratti, but has now moved to play down them comments as a mere joke.
Speaking to an assortment of press, Hernandez said: “Moratti said he would be happy to take me? It was just a joke.
“I am here at Palermo and I am very happy to grow with the Rosanero shirt. I hope coach Delio Rossi remains, who is an important reference for me.
“We are a great team with great players and a great coach. I think we can go far, even qualify for the Champions League.”

Hernandez’s decision to publicly commit his future to Palermo comes just days after team-mate Javier Pastore revealed that he is currently not interested in a move to Barcelona, Manchester City or Real Madrid.
