Ibrahimovic happy for Ronaldinho

Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the spot light once more with a cracking opener for Milan against Auxerre but the Swede instead chose to commend Ronaldinho for his goal and contribution to the team.
“The whole team is very happy for Ronnie. He isn’t playing much at the moment, but he works very hard in training and we are all behind him”, said ‘Ibra’ of his team-mate who has started the last five games from the bench.
The goals from Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho sealed Milan’s passage into the next round of the Champions League and the ex-Barca man was naturally delighted with his effort: “I scored a great goal and the team did well, so now we can relax for the final match”.
Ibrahimovic had complained of exhaustion last week and today he requested Coach Massimiliano Allegri to take him off in the closing stages of the match. “I was very tired at the end and was making too many mistakes, so I asked to be taken off. Ronaldinho came on and scored, so it all worked out”.
Despite qualification being achieved the Rossoneri will go through in second place behind Real Madrid and are likely to meet one of the heavy-weights in the next round. Ibrahimovic however, is not too worried by such a prospect.
“We are getting stronger with every game and whoever faces us will be worried. We play our football, that is all that really matters”. Milan’s final group game against Ajax will be played at home in two weeks’ time.
