Ibrahimovic scouts next superstar for Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sensationally arranged for a 16-year-old to have a trial with Milan after discovering him whilst having a kick-about back home in Sweden.
According to Swedish newspaper The Local, Ibrahimovic was casually playing football with his friend’s family in his hometown of Malmo when he saw the prodigious teenager’s talent. Ibrahimovic apparently rang Milan’s training camp to inform them of the young Erik Kristjansson, who is the son of the former Barcelona striker’s friend.
Kristjansson’s father said: “Zlatan came out and asked him, ‘how would you like to try playing for Milan?’ We said, are you joking, and he said it was no joke. We couldn’t believe it,” continued the father.
The teenager has been in Milan for the past couple of days training with the youth side, and said: “My life is football and this is the chance of a lifetime. I didn’t believe it was true when Zlatan told me I could come here. Even if this doesn’t turn into anything I’ll still gain a lot of experience and other clubs might become interested. My goal is to see how far I can go in football.”
