Ibrahimovic slams Barcelona Coach Guardiola

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed his former Inter coach Jose Mourinho is a great motivator and a winner. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan forward claimed that Mourinho is a bit like Napoleon: “He arrives, wins, leaves and thanks”.
Ibra who was under the Portuguese’s tutelage for a season at Inter Milan also spoke of his former club: “I spent three seasons with Inter. They gave me a lot and I carry them in my heart”. However, upon being questioned whether the team would have won the Champions League had he stayed, Ibrahimovic was unsure: “I don’t know what might have happened had I stayed there. It is difficult to know these things”.
Ibra also shed a bit of light on his hasty departure from Barcelona after spending only one season with the Catalans: “In Barcelona, things can change in 24 hours. The football is fantastic and no one plays like Barcelona, they are definitely the strongest team in the world. But, I learned that even people can change their minds quickly”.
He then went on to criticize Blaugrana coach Pep Guardiola and his techniques: “Guardiola is a great coach but he lacks the experience to deal with 22 different stars and their personalities. Barcelona as a club is not difficult to manage; they won six titles in a year, but with that team who would not have achieved”.
Ibra continued his attack on the Barcelona coach: “Publicly he (Guardiola) wants to be perfect. But Tiger Woods wanted to be perfect. And no one is “.
Finally the big Swede wrapped up the interview b claiming that he is ready to sacrifice himself for the team more than before: “At the beginning of every new challenge, you want to be noticed and be more individualistic but then, you understand that the group is more important. Now I try to work harder for the team”.
Ibrahimovic’s Milan take on Mourinho’s Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
